Additionally, we are truly humbled by Mark Horvath's comments at the end of the article regarding his trip here and his involvement in the 1,287 Stand Up & Be Counted event.

The 1,287 event was a real bridge in our community because of incredible people like Mark Horvath creator of InvisiblePeople.tv, Jon Woodward of Seven Hills Homeless Shelter, Angie Albright of the NW Arkansas Women's Shelter, Debbie Rambo of the Samaritan Community Center and Dr. Kevin Fitzpatrick of the University of Arkansas Community and Family Institute.

For information & video on the 1,287 event, visit the 1,287 Stand Up & Be Counted initiative page.

Again, a huge thanks to all the people who made it happen especially to Dustin Murphy, Rob Apple and Katelyn Graves.  Some incredible things that have come from it.

You can also follow David Lanier who is homeless in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is blogging on NWA Homelessness.
